Explication as a form of experiential learning

What is explication?

Explication is a process which helps people to discover and express their implicit knowledge.

What does explication involve?

Explication encourages people to reflect on their past; to surface and to share with others the insights, knowledge and skills that they’ve learned from their past.

Why do explication?

An understanding of one’s implicit knowledge can provide the background for insights and discoveries that lead to new ideas, new knowledge and new practice for oneself and others.
